JoeyCA1

Adopted!

CongRATulations to the Thomsen/Jones family!

Joey is a happy energetic little guy and a wonderful companion. He is around 2 years old, weighs 11 pounds, is house trained and crate trained, and has excellent house manners. The shelter said he did not react to their cats. Joey is getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He loves riding in the car and walks well on the leash. He enjoys neck rubs, head rubs, belly rubs — you name it! Joey is devoted to his toys and wants to be with his people. We think he needs to be with experienced terrier owners, because when he came to us three weeks ago, he was frightened of quick motions and got tense at times. This behavior has diminished greatly, probably because he has become accustomed to his foster home and foster family. Nevertheless, we would recommend that he not be in a home with children. Please see more pictures of this tremendously great little guy!

TejasCT4

Adopted!

CongRATulations to the Hickey family!

Tejas (called Hoss for short) is named for the area of Texas where he was found. He and his three siblings were discovered in the woods with their deceased mama. He is about 5 months old and weighs about 13 lbs. Tejas has a full tail which wags constantly, and he loves to chase bugs in the leaves outside. He also likes to play in the snow. He is doing great with his potty training and rarely has an accident. Tejas is also crate trained and good on a leash. He is a great snuggler and loves cuddling, meeting new people and new dogs! He did meet a cat, and did not chase! He was content to try and play with her. He is food motivated so he is easy to train. Tejas is a good puppy, and deserves a family of his own. Could that be yours? Please see more pictures of this cutie pie!

CaddoAR3

Adopted!

CongRATulations to the Ortiz family!

My name is Caddo, and I’m the biggest boy of my siblings! But I am also the sweetest, if you ask my foster mom. I was very worried about my little brothers and sisters when our mom died in the woods, but a nice lady found us and got us somewhere warm and safe. We had all lost most of our fur, but it’s growing back now and I’m happy in my Arkansas foster home. My sisters have been adopted, but I really want my brother Tejas and I to have our own homes. I am 12 pounds at 5 months. I am learning about housebreaking (my mom says I am good!) and I am also paper trained. Please follow my progress! I would love to have a home of my own, and maybe even some kids to play with! I’m a puppy, so I might chew a shoe or two, or tear up a Kleenex, but I’ll try to be really good if you’ll adopt me.
