CongRATulations to the Jones family!

Minnie is 2 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is crate trained, house trained, and gets along with everyone including other dogs and children. We’re not sure how she does with cats, but we can have her “cat-scanned” upon request. Minnie came to us from an animal shelter in south Florida when her owners were no longer able to care for her. Minnie was shy for about the first half hour in her foster home. After that, it was as if she owned the place. She plays with the other dogs and is very sweet and affectionate. She’s full of energy and loves to run around but is also content to sit in your lap or next to you on the couch. Is Minnie the perfect addition to your family? Please see more pictures of Minnie!

Thanks for your interest in Minnie. She is indeed still available. If you’d like to adopt her, please submit an adoption application. I am Minnie’s foster mom, and depending on how far away you are, I’d be happy to arrange a meeting.

We are a family of 4, & adopted a male Rat Terrier 2 years ago. We would like to find a female just for a companion for Mitt. He gets lonely during the day when my boys are at school. He lives a very charmed life, & we would like to share our home with another Terrier in need. Of course, we want a spade female. We have a very large comfortable home with a large fenced back yard. Minnie sounds perfect for our family, but we live in McAlester, OK! Do you deliver!?

Minnie is quite the character. She loves to play and is a big love bug. Amy, if you’re really interested in adopting Minnie, you can can submit an adoption application and then arrange to have her flown from FL to OK.

Minnie is beautiful in every way. I can’t wait to fly her home to Charleston, WV to join sister Lily, a ResQ foster of Cora’s a that we adopted a couple of years ago.
