we just adopted Buffy from New Rattitude who has had a similar situation –compound fracture and successful surgery
(a five hole plate in her leg) She is happy and doing really well — running around and giving rattie kisses.
Bless you for saving her. These dogs are so grateful and as we know — They are ALL special.

This is the most loving, happy dog in the world. I hated to see her leave Arkansas, but it was for the best. Now she is whole, and ready to run! She loves everyone she meets, man or beast.
