CongRATulations to the Bolden family!

Meet little man Tate! This adorable little guy is about 11 pounds and about 2 years old. He is very timid but has progressed nicely in his foster home, playing with a couple of his foster brothers and coming to his people for love after he gets a to know that they are nice folk. He is still very nervous of fast movements and loud noises but he startles for a second and is right back to normal. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, he is just shy. He has been great with all dogs and he is great with the cats. Tate would blossom best in a quiet home without children and with patient human(s) who will give Tate time and space. He loves to sleep in bed, is very snuggly and doesn’t mind being close for petting and hugs. He will kiss your hand from time to time, but he is not a face kisser. He can use a doggie door to do his business and he is potty trained and crate trained. Tate loves to sit on a lap for TV time. This is a precious little soul that just yearns to let the “big dog” come out of his little frame. A playmate would be good for Tate, but also being an only dog would allow for all the attention and love to be focused solely on him, which he deserves.    Hi Kim! Tate does have an adoption currently pending, however please feel free to take a look at our available dogs and also keep an eye on our website. We are frequently adding newly rescued Rat Terriers, and perhaps one will tug at your heart.

   Hi: I have followed Tate’s progress for quite a while. Is he over the problem of lifting his leg so that he no longer requires a “belly band”? And, do you think he would enjoy a 6 yr. old rattie brother who is a gentle soul and loves everyone? We have a townhouse and plenty of room and I work at home. What are your thoughts?
