Willie Joe is a good ol’ southern boy who was found wandering the streets of Cabot, Arkansas, after recent violent storms and tornadoes. He was striding down the middle of the road and walked up to an animal control officer on the way to her work. She said he looked at her, tail wagging, like he was saying, “Hi, there! I’m going for a walk, wanna come too?” Nobody came looking for him, so ResQ was called. Willie Joe is a long-legged boy, weighing a little over 10 pounds. He is very thin, though, and should be about 12 pounds. He is crate trained and is doing well with his house training. He loves everyone and gets along with the other dogs in his foster home. He especially likes to snooze in your lap and help you watch an old movie. Willie is about 4 years old, has a spring in his step and loves to chase birds and squirrels in his backyard. Check this album often for more photos of this nice boy. Willie is a little camera shy, but we’ll be adding more photos soon. Wouldn’t you like to have a little lap-warmer like Willie Joe?
