Karma – ADOPTED!

Posted Mar 1, 2013 at 9:39 pm in Latest News

ADOPTED!!     Looking for some good karma?  Look no further!  Karma is a sweet girl, looking for a forever home.  She was in a shelter for months, sleeping on chemically-treated concrete, and as a result, her skin was in terrible shape when she arrived in foster care.  After only a week, she is looking much, much better!  Karma is young, between 1 and 2 years old, and weighs 18 pounds.  She is a typical standard rat terrier, with long legs.  She has a docked tail.  She is a gray tri-color, with beautiful gray eyes.  She is quite the snuggler, and when you pet her she closes her eyes with delight.  She seems to be so grateful to be out of the shelter and in her foster home, and is trying very hard to do everything that is asked of her.  She sleeps willingly in her crate at night and is doing very well with her housetraining.  Karma is friendly to strangers without being pushy.  She needs a little work with walking on a leash, and she hasn’t been tested with children and cats.  Karma really needs a fenced backyard, because this little girl spends a lot of time outside, chasing birds and squirrels!  Check back often to see her progress, and look for more photos here:

And watch her in action!

Karma is adorable. We were wondering if she likes to ride in the car?

Karma looks like such a sweet little girl! Is she available for adoption now or does she need more healing time?

Karma has only ridden in the car once, and she did fine. She just laid down and didn’t get car sick. Cora

Her skin is looking a lot better, and she is now housebroken with the doggie door. I’d say she’s probably about ready. She lost a little hair that hasn’t completely re-grown, but other than that, her skin looks great. Cora

She is very submissive and super sweet, I think she would be fine. I will try to round up some kiddy volunteers. Cora

I would love to give Karma the home and love that she needs. I lost my Bella to kidney failure a while ago and have since been looking for a rattie to spoil. Please give me a chance, I have no small children and no cat to worrie about.

Please, please…take a look at my application for Karma. I would love to give her a good home and lots of love. I had a rat terrier (Bella) that had kidney failure, hardest thing to see your best friend of 11yrs go. I am now looking to rescue vs going puppy, I want to save a little life. I have no cats and no small children. Please take a look over my application.
    Thank you,
    Alma

Yes, I think I might have filled out two because I was not sure if the first one worked. I wanted to make sure you knew that I wanted her as well so I filled out another one. Yes, I really want to give that sweet girl a good home.
