Penny – ADOPTED!!

Posted Jun 30, 2013 at 2:37 pm in Latest News

ADOPTED!!    Meet Penny!  This tough little Texas girl survived being left behind in the woods with her siblings and mother to fend for themselves. Luckily ResQ was able to take them in and provide a loving foster home. Penny is a Rat Terrier-Corgi mix and a darling little girl that loves to be cuddled. Penny is 4 1/2 months old and weighs 8 pounds. She is very playful, easygoing, and enjoys long back scratches. After playing with her canine brother and kids in the house she enjoys sleeping in her foster mom’s lap along side her brother. Penny is house trained and sleeps through the night. She is super friendly and learning to walk on a leash. She would do great in a home with children and other dogs and would love to be adopted with her brother “Leo”. They are like two peas in a pod.  For more adorable photos of this little girl, visit her album:

Do you adopt to different states? I’m located in CT and would love Penny. I just don’t know how that works.

Hi, Laura – we would need to arrange transport, and there are some ground transports available in the NE, like Got Orphans transport. Either that, or airplane flight. We sometimes have volunteers between the two cities that can help drive a volunteer transport. It all depends on the distance. Cora

Is Penny still available? She is adorable and I would have a definite interest in adopting her.
