ADOPTED!! Zoe is a beautiful brindle and white Rat Terrier mix. We think there may be some Italian Greyhound in her heritage, due to her coloration and slender build. Zoe also has the IG ears. She was rescued from an overcrowded kill shelter in NC. She is approximately 2 years old and 14 pounds of energetic fun! She is very grateful to be in a loving foster home and is learning how to handle all of the affection. She is very active and needs lots of space to run and get that Rat Terrier energy out. She gets along well with children and small dogs in the house. She enjoys going riding and does well uncrated in the car. She is learning to like her seatbelt and walk on a leash. Zoe is house trained and very playful. Zoe does well crated at night, but prefers to be loose indoors during the day with human companionship. This beautiful girl would love to be part of a family who can give her lots of time and attention during the day. She has tons of love to offer and wishes to find her furever home very soon. posted September 21st, 2013 at 8:32 amI am looking for a female rate terrior that is black and white only. I have 2 other rescue dogs. One is a house dog that is full blooded black and white male rat terrior. and the other is a blue merle austrailin sheppard that mostly stays outside. They get along great. But my rat terrior is starting to get old about 9 to 10 years old and I would love to have a female black and white that he could mate with, cause He is our little baby. He is like our child. Of course so is our austrialin shepperd. Buddy (rat) is so spoiled but getting old and needs another rat terrior female to keep him active. We have 2 acares fenced in with a divider in between if need be. Buddy needs to breed so his legacy can live on. He is so special I cant explain. He is purely inside dog and is well trained. He even talks about loving Jesus! He goes to bed and is trained to catch rats, moles, etc…. He is our family member. He is more than just a dog. But he is getting gray hair on him. We want him to have a companion to keep him active and have puppies so he can keep his legacy. He is to great of a family member to just never let him live on. He took care of 2 sets of kittens, and acted like their mother when the 2 mother ended up getting killed by our neighbors. He laid in the cage and carried them around and loved them. He is soo smart. If you come across a female that is just black and white, please let me know. We are willing to work with her and teach her. thank you.

We want him to have a companion to keep him young. and we want to have puppies to keep his legacy alive. He is our baby, more than a dog. Our family member. He was a rescue dog. He is purely an inside dog and we have another rescue dog that is mostly outside in a fenced in 2 acre field. He is also getting old and his fur is turning gray as well. They are our children! We LOVE our babies. We are looking for a female rat terrior puppy or adult that can keep Buddy active and keep his legacy alive!!!! We need another one to love and cherish ( and spoil,LOLOLOL) We need another baby. Please let me know if you get one, thank you!!!
