Murphy – ADOPTED!!

ADOPTED!!   Murphy wandered up to the home of a kind woman who does cat rescue in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was a skinny little boy who was cold, hungry and scared.  She took him in and set about to find a rescue group to take him.  Murphy is about 16 to 18 pounds, and from 1 to 2 years old.  He is doing wonderfully with his house training, and sleeps contentedly in his crate at night.  He is still a bit nervous in unfamiliar situations, but seems to like everyone he meets.  Murphy is learning to play with the other young dogs in his foster home, but mostly he follows his foster mom everywhere she goes.  After being lost and homeless, he obviously doesn’t want to get lost again.  He is well-behaved for the most part, but he likes to lick your chin, and he jumps up on legs.  This might be a problem for very young children.  He takes correction well, but is very stealthy about getting a few chin licks in before you know it.  He seemed to be fine among the cats in his temporary home in Little Rock, but he did growl at them when they came too close to his food.  His favorite place is your lap, and he thinks getting to sleep in the big bed, even for a nap, is the bomb!  Murphy is a happy little guy who is grateful for a second chance and would be a great addition to just about any home.  He does well on a leash and seems to enjoy a good car ride.  He’s a bit camera shy, but for more photos of Murphy in his foster home, check his album often for updates:
And watch him in action in the video below:

I was wondering if he will be brought up to the north east? Like Connecticut?
