Odie – ADOPTED!!

ADOPTED!!   Odie is a handsome young lad being fostered in Wolcott, CT.  This cute guy is a one year-old male Rat Terrier that has the nickname “Happy.”  He weighs about 8 pounds, and hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like!  He was found as a stray in Florida and his owners were never found.  He traveled all the way up to Connecticut with his foster mom in search of a perfect home.  He is a very loving boy, he listens well, and wants badly to please his people.  Odie loves to play and run around in the yard of his foster home, and also plays well with the other dogs in his foster home.  He travels very well in the car, and on his plane ride to CT he didn’t make a peep!  He is crate trained and house broken, and even gets along with the cat that he lives with.  Odie walks well on a leash, and enjoys his walkabouts with his foster family.  Sometimes when he gets excited he will jump up on people, so we are recommending children over 7.  We are working on the jumping in his training sessions.  Odie knows basic commands, and looks to his person to see what you want from him.  This smart boy is eager to learn and very  trainable.  For more photos of Odie in his foster home, check his album:
