Brayda – ADOPTED!!
ADOPTED!! Brayda is a beautiful brindle and white girl who found herself in a shelter through no fault of her own. She is about 2 to 3 years old, and weighs about 18 pounds. She is an excellent watch dog, and will look for signs from you when a stranger enters the home. Once told it’s okay, she will wag her tail to meet them. She is crate trained and is housebroken with a doggie door. If allowed, she loves to sleep at the foot of her foster dad’s bed or in a dog bed on the floor. She is a busy girl, always checking out the back yard for pesky squirrels and other invaders! Brayda loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home, and especially loves to play chase in the back yard. She loves being outdoors! Because she is active and loves being outside, we would prefer that her permanent home have a fenced back yard to keep her safe. She is attentive without being needy, and doesn’t demand to be in your lap all the time. Brayda would be a fantastic addition to an active family, and would not do well in a home that expected a couch potato dog. Brayda plays hard, so very small children would probably not be advised, we would be afraid she would accidently knock them over in her exuberance. But if you like walking, jogging, or just watching her harass the squirrels in your back yard, this is the dog for you! She loves to fetch a ball, but she will make you work to get it back.
