Scarlett – ADOPTED!!
ADOPTED!! Scarlett was not even a year old when she was allowed to have her first litter of puppies. She is still a puppy herself, full of playful energy and with a loving nature. Scarlett came into rescue with her 6 puppies, which were fathered by a chihuahua in the home. Her pups were 5 weeks old when the entire family was surrendered. She has been the best mom, but now she deserves to find a family to pamper her and love her forever. She is 12 pounds, and our vets think she is about 9 or 10 months old. She is a beautiful red and white, with a jaunty tail that curls twice over her back. She is housebroken with a doggie door, and comes running when you call her name. She minds very well, and is affectionate and submissive. She gets along with all the dogs in her foster home, and especially likes curling up in your lap for a snooze while you watch an old movie. We have not discovered any behavorial issues with Scarlett, and she has gotten a clean bill of health from our vets. So she is ready to begin the search for her new family!
