Zeke
Location: Tennessee Meet Zeke, the wonder rattie! He's about 20" tall, weighs about 26 lbs, 1 year old and is house trained. Zeke does everything with gusto! He loves to play and play and play...Did I mention play?! He is a "rough and tumble" type of guy so he's best playing with a dog his size or bigger. He is never without a toy in his mouth. His kisses will remove every ounce of makeup off a face - and he has a "thing" about ears! He can be a bit enthusiastic about sharing his affection so he would need to be monitored around young children. He is a lover extraordinaire. He walks wonderfully on a leash and greets everyone he meets with a nubbie wag. He is even happier when they pet him. He rides well in a car and crates well at night (especially when sent to bed with a biscuit or two) but upon hearing people moving about the home, he'll start whining. We are currently working on manners like wait until called, humans go out of doors first, no slobbering on hands, etc... The ideal home for Zeke would have active adults, another playful dog, and children over 8. Check out more pictures of Zeke!

Travis
Location: Arkansas Travis was taken to a shelter when a good Samaritan found him abandoned after a flea market in Arkansas. Travis is just turned 4 months old, and currently weighs 10 to 12 pounds. Travis is bold and playful and not afraid of anything! He has been starved for attention, and is friendly to everyone he meets. He is is using a piddle pad when he is confined to a small room at night, and enjoys running in the backyard of his foster home. Travis has a curly tail that wags all the time, and he thrives on attention. His sister Buffy has been adopted. Would you consider adopting Travis?

Odie
Adopted!Congratulations to the Nichols Family! Location: Washington My name is Odie. I am about 1 year old (still a puppy), about 10-12 pounds and I love to play! I am good with other dogs and kids. I am with a 2 yr old in the house now and he has pulled on me a few times and I don’t even care! I have better things to do. I don’t have a mean bone in my body. I am not fully potty trained since my previous owner locked me in a room for 12 hours a day. I do a snorting noise every now and then that makes my foster mom laugh and I love to cuddle. I am crate trained now and I do well sleeping in my crate at night with someone in their bedroom. I do need a fenced yard (a MUST). If I get out, I like to go explore. I am working on coming when you call. If I am the right doggie for your family, I learn quickly and promise I won’t let you down! I would enjoy being in a home with kids or someone that is home part time, and I love other dogs.

Anson
Location: California Anson is approximately 10 pounds. He had visible ribs when he made it to his fosterhome, but is gaining! He is estimated to be under 2 years old. He has been excellent with house training, after learning the routine at his fosterhome. He sleeps quietly and stays clean all night in his crate. Anson is VERY playful and active, without being destructive to human objects. He love his toys! He enjoys going for a walk on leash, has learned to sit, and is working on basic obedience. He gets along with other dogs and is still working on cat socialization. Anson was very shy and fearful when he arrived at his fosterhome, but has since become outgoing and confident. Although the car is not his favorite place, he travels quietly. He loves to curl up on a lap for a nap. He loves his human foster brother, who is a teenager. Anson is spirited, fun-loving and devoted. He really needs to be a full member of the family. You should check out more pictures of this cute guy!

Chandler
Location: New York Looking for Special? Looking for Amazing? Go no further. This is Chandler. He is approximately 3-4 years old and it has been discovered that Chandler is deaf. This darling boy is so smart, so playful, so loving and so well-adjusted that neither shelter nor his foster parents realized he was deaf right away. He was found as a stray and did have an injury to the back of his neck when brought into the shelter that has since healed, but with his personality and ability to live life 'normally' like any other dog suggests that he may have been deaf and had some great people working with him before he got lost. Nonetheless, he will require a special family that realizes that some things are a little different with him - like using hand commands and touch to reward and discipline. He will also need a securely fenced yard as we do not want him to wander off again. Otherwise, you will find that this 18 pound, slightly underweight boy is just oozing with joy and love. Chandler is crate trained and learned a doggie door routine in his fosterhome and is also fantastic on leash. He loves to play, he loves to cuddle, he just ... loves. He has done great with all the dogs he's encountered as well as children ages 3 and up. Open your heart to a special gentleman who deserves all of the good things life has to offer.
