Meet Bella! Bella is an 8 month-old rat terrier/chi mix. She weighs all of about 6 pounds, and is the sweetest little love bug. She is a little shy at first and takes a few minutes to warm up to strangers, but she loves everyone. She did wonderfully at a PetCo showing, and enjoyed the attention from lots of new people. She is doing very well with her leash training, and seems to like children. Due to her small size, we think children over 6 would be best. She gets along with all the dogs she has met, and is crate trained. Bella is doing very well with her housetraining, and is very smart! She goes to the door to tell her foster mom that she needs to go out (most of the time.) Bella is young and full of energy, but will settle down nicely to lay in your lap. She is fine with cats, and will just saunter up to them, sniff them, and walk away. Bella is a sweetheart of a dog that needs a home to show her lots of love and attention. Want to meet a cute puppy? They don’t come any cuter than Bobo! Bobo is a 12-week old rat terrier mix that is living in a foster home in Bristol, CT, with his brother Brody. These two boys are having a great time, and life is good! He is a super sweet boy who is working on his housebreaking skills and leash training. He’s a smart boy, too, and is already crate trained. Bobo loves kids of all ages and he is also good with cats. Bobo enjoys riding in the car and going on adventures with his foster family. His favorite thing, though, is to run and play with his brother and his foster brothers and sisters! This boy is a total love bug with people, and would make a great family member for someone with or without other dogs. Bobo and his brother Brody are good boys, and don’t bark much at all. Our foster mom in CT is enjoying a little puppy breath! Meet Brody! Brody is a 12-week old rat terrier mix that is enjoying life in his foster home in Bristol, CT, with his brother Bobo. Brody is a sweet boy who is working on his housebreaking skills and leash training. He is crate trained and really focuses on you when training. We think he might be a good candidate for agility. He is good with kids of all ages and he is also good with cats. He rides well in the car, and loves to run and play with his other foster brother and sister. Brody is a total love bug with people. Right now he is teething, so we are working on learning how not to nibble on fingers. He would make a great family member for someone with or without dogs. Tiny remains a big sweetheart, even after all she’s been through. Even though she was a good girl, her owner abandoned her at the big scary shelter for no apparent reason. Tiny was confused and missed her family, but she didn’t give up on humans! Tiny is approximately 5 years old, and a little nervous at first in a new situation. But most of us would be too, especially if you didn’t understand what was happening to you. She lives up to her name, because she only weighs a little over 10 pounds. She is a tiny thing! She has long, delicate legs. She prefers to be sitting in your lap, no matter what you might be doing, or whether you needed a lap dog or not! Tiny is housebroken and crate trained, and walks very nicely on leash. She is good with other dogs and can be cat scanned upon request. She loves cheese and will jump 4 feet into the air with joy for a treat! Do you have a little room in your heart and home for a sweetheart like Tiny? Sophie
Sex: Female • Located in: Connecticut • Age: Adult
*Sophie is being fostered in Bristol, CT.*
This pretty girl is named Sophie! Sophie is a chocolate and white Rat Terrier, and weighs about 12 pounds. We think she is about 7 years old. This beautiful dog is a sweet and loving girl, and you will fall in love with her quickly! She enjoys her walks and is very good on a leash. Sophie is housebroken, but will use a potty pad on occasion if she can’t get outside. Sophie is also crate trained. She loves to take rides in the car and sleep in bed with her people, covered with a blanket, of course! Sophie is very people-oriented, but fast-moving kids make her nervous, so she tends to scurry away. We think she would be fine with children over 6. She has shown absolutely no aggression when she is nervous, she just walks around or goes to a quiet place. Her new family will need to allow her time to get settled and learn the routine. She has not been cat scanned but we will do that soon. If her personality is a way to judge cat tolerance, we think she would be fine with cats. Sophie’s favorite past time is to lay in the sun and enjoy life! She would be a devoted companion to some lucky family, could that be yours?
