Cupcake is a special girl who needs a special home. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, and is very shy because she was not socialized. She loves her foster mom and jumps up in her lap for petting, but is afraid of strange people who walk up to her. She has been trained to use a pee pad, but is adapting very well to going outside with the other dogs in her foster home. So far, no accidents, and she will go to the door if she needs to go out. If she is unable to go outside, she will use the pad, but has rarely used it since her foster mom began letting her outside. She is not leash trained yet, so a fenced back yard is necessary. Other dogs in the home would be a plus, and would help her confidence. Cupcake is very sweet and gives her foster mom lots of kisses - but she is afraid of people who tower over her. If you have the patience and time to invest into Cupcake, she will be a loving companion, but she needs someone who understands her. She weighs about 15 pounds and is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old. She needs socialization and lots of patience and love. She has short legs and a full tail. She has started to play in her foster home, so she has come a long way. If you have the time and love to invest in a worthy little girl, Cupcake needs you!    I have been interested in Cupcake for some time now. My problem is I haven’t been able to figure out how I would get her from Arkansas. I have submitted my application when I was interested in Penny who I’ve been told has been adopted. I feel I would be an excellent match with Cupcake because I have a lot of love to give and I would be an extremely patient person when working with her if I could just figure out how to get her to Wisconsin.
