Jasmine

Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine. Sometimes my foster mom calls me Jazzie for short. I am only a year old, so I have many years of face licking to give and so many belly rubs to receive. I am 14 pounds and fit perfectly in your lap — not too big and not too small. I am completely housebroken and alert my family when I need to go out by giving some quick barks. I am otherwise very quiet and happy laying next to you. I am also crate-trained, which means I know it is time for you to run your errands and time for me to take a nice nap in my crate. I am a bit unsure of other dogs, they make a a little bit nervous. I would much rather be with my humans than with other dogs. My foster family does not have any cats, whatever those are. My foster family takes me out on walks and I do well on the leash. I don’t pull or try to break free, I just walk happily next to them. I love running in the big back yard because it gives me time to stretch out and take in the sun. Sometimes the cows come out in the back pasture and I like to sniff the air. My foster mom says I would do best in a home with children over the age of five, only because when I want you to pet me, I give LOVE NIBBLES. I enjoy laying down next to the little girls that live in my foster home. They play dolls and bang on their instruments, and sometimes they read books to me and I enjoy it all. I get to lay down in the bed with the human kids when they go to bed. I lay nice and quietly and help them get to sleep. Once they are asleep, I go to sleep in my crate. My foster mommy doesn’t want me to get overly spoiled, but promised that one day I might get to sleep all night in a bed with someone. I am a ‘Let’s sit under this big tree shade and watch the butterflies’ type of gal. Because of this, I think that an all adult household would suit me just fine as well. Laying next to you on the couch as we take in a movie, sitting out back as you drink your coffee and I soak in the sun, curling up together after a long enjoyable day together… what could be better than that? Ziggy

We’d like to introduce you to Ziggy! Ziggy is a puppy, and is only about 8 months old. He is the perfect lap size, at about 12 pounds. He is a laid back, sweet dog, and not overly active. He is well-mannered and does not get into mischief like a typical puppy. He is quiet and calm, and does not bark or chew on things he shouldn’t. Ziggy is housebroken, and crate trained. He sleeps in his crate at night without a peep. This sweet boy just wants to please his people, and is very happy in his Florida foster home. His favorite thing to do is to be outside running around and enjoying the backyard with his foster family. He can be off leash and ALWAYS comes when called. Ziggy is very smart! He likes other dogs and people, and loves to go on long walks. Since he’s being fostered in Florida, he has learned to enjoy swimming in the pool or ocean. He is a little shy and sometimes nervous around new people, but he warms up quickly. He would probably do best in a household with children 10 and over. Ziggy is being fostered in Tampla, Florida, and all he needs now is a home of his own. Could that home be yours?

Sanchez

SanchezHi! My name is Sanchez. I am about 5-6 months old. I don’t know for sure, because I can’t remember my birthday. When I was really little, I got lost and ended up at a shelter. It was really scary there. Thankfully, rescue volunteers got me out of there. I’m really happy in my foster home, but I would really like to have a family of my own. I love to run and play, especially with other dogs. My foster mom says I annoy the other dogs, but I’m just persistent. Eventually, they give in and play with me. I love kids. I’ve briefly met a few cats, but they won’t play with me, so I bark at them. I sleep in my crate like a good boy, and I am housebroken. I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash and to sit when asked, but it’s really hard, since I just want to run and play. I’ll keep working on it, ‘specially if it helps me get my own family. Do you have room for me at your house? I only weigh about 8 lbs, and I promise I won’t grow much more. Let me know, and I’ll pack my bags, or at least my leash. More Photos Click Here:

Gracie

Gracie2ResQ would like to introduce Gracie! Gracie is a beautiful 6 year-old female Rat Terrier weighing about 17 lbs. She is crate trained, housebroken, and gets along with everyone including dogs, cats, and older children. Gracie was very quick to adapt to her foster home, and is very happy with her foster family, but she needs a home of her own. She is a sweet and extremely affectionate dog. Like most rat terriers, she is full of energy and loves to run around but is also content to sit in your lap and drown you in doggie kisses. Gracie could be the perfect addition to your family. Max

MaxMax is a sweet little boy. He is about 3 years old and weighs about 20 lbs. Max is fully housebroken and crate-trained. He and his brother, Echo, were given up when their family had to move and were forced to leave their dogs behind. Max is easy-going and will bark to alert you if someone comes to your door. That’s his job, after all! And someone obviously worked with him, since he knows basic commands like, “sit”, “come”, etc. He gets along with other dogs, and although we aren’t sure how he will do with cats, we can have him ”cat-scanned” upon request. He will sleep in his crate, but would much prefer to sleep in bed with you if you let him. Could Max be the perfect addition to your family? For more pics of Max in his Florida fosterhome, Click Here
