ADOPTED!!   We’d like to introduce Penny!  Penny is a 5-month old Rat Terrier, and is pure bred.  Rarely do we have paperwork confirming registration, but Penny’s owner could no longer keep this beautiful dog.  Penny is approximately 10 pounds and is being fostered in CT.  She is doing great with all the other dogs in her foster home and the cats that she has met.  She loves being around children and is very affectionate towards them.  Like most teenage terriers, Penny has a lot of energy and would love a playmate in her adoptive home.  She has not been leash trained, but we are working towards that goal.  We would prefer placing her in a home with a fenced yard, due to her inexperience with a leash.  She has a tendency to run off and explore!  Penny is doing very well with her housebreaking and loves everyone she meets.  She loves car rides, and is already crate trained.  If this little girl would be a good fit for your family, please apply to adopt, or inquire if you have any questions.  You can see more photos of her here:
