Lucie – ADOPTED!!

ADOPTED!!  Little Lucie has been through a lot in her 7 years.  She came to ResQ at age 4 after her owner passed and was adopted out, but after three years, her family decided they no longer had time for her.  Lucie is quite tiny at 9 pounds.   She is housebroken and knows how to use the dog door.  Her favorite thing to do is sit close to you so you can be sure to pet her and toss her squeaky bone.  Lucie deserves a life where she will be treated like the little princess she is.  ****Because she was returned through no fault of her own, we want to be sure this will never happen again, so we will not consider adoptions further than 2-3 hours of her foster home in Green Bay, WI.****  Small children scare her with their exuberance, so no children under 12.  Her ideal home would be a home with someone who is home during the day or retired person(s).  For more photos of Lucie in her fosterhome, click here:
