ADOPTED!! Charlie
Check out Charlie! Charlie is about 9 years old and is a full blood Rat Terrier filled with lots of spunk! Charlie is about 19 lbs. He is a real good looker! His pictures don’t do him justice. Charlie recently underwent cataract surgery in his right eye. Before the surgery, he had a hard time playing fetch and soccer, two of his favorite activities. After he recovered he was back to his normal day to day world of playing and cuddling. He is quite a smart fellow. It’s obvious to his foster mom that someone has spent a lot of time training him. He knows several commands and words that are not in a normal dog’s vocabulary. He picks up new tricks quickly. He is completely house broken with a doggie door, is crate-trained, and loves to go for walks on leash. He also loves to ride in the car. He is quite the character! When Charlie wants to play, he’ll start talking to whomever he wants to play with, whether it is his foster mom or dad or his canine buddies. He gets along well with other dogs. He also is happy to play with a toy by himself. While he is a fully active dog, ready for any fun you want to engage in, Charlie also loves to cuddle. If you are happy, he is happy! Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $175. Charlie’s adoption fee has been subsidized. A generous donor has paid $75 of his fee. So Charlies adoption fee is $100.

I’m Axle’s foster mom. He is a great dog. I hope he finds his forever home soon also. He really does deserve his own family to play fetch with and cuddle with.

posted May 13th, 2011 at 11:10 pmWe think Axle is about 7 or 8 years old. He is a wonderful guy. He’s laying here with me on the couch now. Earlier he was playing tug-o-war with my husband. He would make a great addition to most families.
Oh my, he is so adorable!! I wish I could squeeze him into my household.
