ADOPTED!! Emma is the definition of a sweet little soul. She was picked up as a stray and languished in an Arkansas shelter where her fear grew and she lost weight. When it was apparent no one would claim or adopt her, ResQ stepped in. Emma does have a fear of anything and anyone new,but we’ve been working with her and she is getting better and no longer belly crawls into Petco. Big dogs frighten her, but she gets along perfectly with her foster siblings and loves tearing it up with her hairless foster brother. She is 8-10 pounds and 1-2 years old. She has a severe overbite but it doesn’t not affect her eating or chewing and it lends to her charm. She is working hard on her housebreaking skills. Emma will melt any heart when she climbs on your lap and puts her head against your chest and looks up at you with those brown eyes. She loves to sleep in bed, especially under the covers. She can be quite the clown, but we suspect that small children would probably frighten her. She sleeps nicely at night in her crate. She will require a fenced yard as being frightened sends her running, and her adoptive home will need to be in proximity to her foster home of Wisconsin so she doesn’t have to endure too much travel or change and it will allow for an introduction.
