ADOPTED!!  Meet Russell the Muscle.  At 10 inches and about 12 pounds, Russell is a lot packed into a tiny package.  A stray, Russell was estimated by the shelter to be anywhere from 8-12 months.  We suspect he is about 10 months.  He has one button ear and one semi-erect ear and the cutest brown eyebrows. He has a very deep bark for such a little guy.   Russell knows his name and comes running when you call him.  He loves to play fetch with stuffed toys and a ball and brings them all back to one spot, your lap.   He is definitely a lap dog and loves to see how close to your face he can get his butt (hint: it’s very close). He’s been doing really well with going potty outside.   He does know how to go in and out of the dog door, but prefers that you just let him out a lot because he loves to be running in the grass and bunny hopping.  He gets along with everyone and really enjoys a good game of chase or wrestle with his dog friend.  Russell is sturdy but little so a home with children 8 or older might be best.   A fenced yard is preferred just to give him a lot of space to wear off all his energy.   Please keep in mind that Russell is in Wisconsin and it will likely not be possible to fly him in the summer heat.  For photos of this cute guy in his foster home, click here:
